Welcome Solutions Providers!

 

Each year, MASBO is delighted to provide you the opportunity to bring your product and service expertise to our membership. Our membership includes lead, assistant, and aspiring school business officials, as well as superintendents. Members come from municipal and regional districts, vocational/agricultural/technical schools, collaborative schools, and charter schools throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

 

This year, the event will be held on March 10, 2020 from 8:00-3:00 at the Best Western Royal Plaza in Marlborough, MA, and will feature over 90 spaces in which to feature your products or literature on your services. Our members look forward to engaging with you to solve their unique procurement issues, and we hope you'll find their questions and concerns valuable as you consider how to support them.

 

October 1, 2019: Registration opens for Solution Provider Affiliates (MASBO members)

 

November 15, 2019: Registration opens for non-member Solution Providers

 

 

Before you register, please carefully review this information:

 

1. There are four (4) different exhibit sizes:

2. Exhibit locations have been re-numbered since last year, so please review the FY20 Floor Plan  when you register. The floor plan will be updated as paid registrations are received.

 

3. Up to three (3) representatives from your organization are included in your exhibit location fee. Additional representatives are $100 each and should be added to your registration by clicking "Save & Add Another Attendee" on page 2 of the registration form (prior to checkout).

 

4. Exhibit locations are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis when registrations are completed and payment is received. You may pay one of these ways:

  • Online with a credit card at time of registration (faster and preferred).
  • Select "Bill Me" at time of registration and mail a check to our Hopkinton office. If your 4 preferred exhibit locations are unavailable upon receipt of your check, then you will be contacted to select another location from the updated floor plan.

5. Breakfast and lunch buffets are included with every registration.

 

6. A high-quality (high resolution) logo must be uploaded to the registration form.

Members must be logged into our website in order to register and receive the discounted exhibit rate.

After you register, please carefully review this information:

 

Registration

  • Cancellations must be made in writing (email is sufficient) prior to February 1, 2020, and will incur a $50.00 processing fee. No refunds will be granted after this date.

  • If your registration information changes, such as the people who will attend or your logo, between now and February 21, please contact Kristin at admin@masbo.org.

  • Exhibit locations will be finalized by February 21, 2020. Registrants will receive confirmation letters via email.

 

Exhibit Logistics

  • Measure your exhibit to ensure it will fit in your purchased location.

  • Electrical service is available. Please bring a power strip and 20-foot extension cord. If you need electrical service other than a standard outlet, please contact Kristin at admin@masbo.org to see if it is available.

  • Upon arrival, exhibit locations will be numbered and have your MASBO-provided name badges that must be worn for the duration of the event, as well as the WiFi access and MASBO staff contact information.

  • One table and two chairs are included in each exhibit location. Please inform Kristin at admin@masbo.org if you do not want these in your location.

  • Wastebaskets are not provided.

  • Setup may occur during these times:

    • Monday, March 9, 2020, 6pm-10pm

    • Tuesday, March 10, 2020, 5am-8am

  • Exhibitors may unload through the side entrance (function entrance) of the hotel.

  • Material transport: If you need to send materials to the venue ahead of time, please complete these Capital Convention Contractors forms and send directly to them. Once they receive your payment and shipment, they will transport your materials to the hotel. MASBO is unable to receive or ship your materials.

  • Breakdown may begin no earlier than 2pm.

  • The ballroom floor and hallway are carpeted.

 

Raffles

  • Raffles are optional and must be respectful of the ethics laws of the Commonwealth. Please align to the Massachusetts Operational Services Division (OSD) Vendor Ethics Guidelines.

  • MASBO members will bring their business cards to be used as raffle entries and they need not be present to collect her/his prize. You may bring lead cards and a bowl to collect raffle entries for your drawing.

  • The drawing must occur just prior to the end of the Solutions Fair.

  • You are responsible for contacting winners and delivering prizes.

 

 

 

 Accommodations

  • Hotel reservations may be made by directly contacting the Best Western. There is no promo code for this event.

 

Member-Helping-Member Sessions

 

Have you made a significant difference by helping solve a problem in a Massachusetts school and/or district? Would you like to partner with that district's School Business Administrator and share your experience with attendees on March 10 as part of a Member-Helping-Member session? If so, please complete this Request for Presentation form.

After the Solutions Fair:

 

Complete the online Solution Provider survey by March 20 to provide feedback on your experience.

 

You will receive a list of attendees' mailing addresses.
