This course is being offered by Jennifer Fitzgerald, ELE Program Coordinator and Greg Zammuto, Business Manager at SEEM Collaborative.   The hybrid class format will consist of three online weeks beginning on April 8, 2019 and conclude with a full day, face-to-face session at the Sea Crest on May 14, 2019. The three weeks are self-paced with assignments due by the start of the next week. The three weeks begin on April 8, April 22, and April 29. Participants will learn about English Learners (ELs) and relevant federal and state legislation as it relates to EL education. Additionally, participants will explore their district's policies and programming. The course will include readings, videos, and weekly online discussion. Participants will be expected to produce a final product that reflects the integration of course content with their professional responsibilities.

15 PDPs in SEI/ESL will be offered for successful completion of the course and will be granted by SEEM Collaborative, not MASBO. This course does not lead to or provide the SEI Administrator Endorsement.
