Qualifications: - MA DOE licensure as a School Business Administrator
Masters Degree or higher in related field
MCPPO designation preferred
previous experience in budget development/management
familiarity with school finance and state/federal laws and
regulations

Immediate Opening

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assists with the development of annual operating, revolving, and capital budgets
  • Prepares budget, financial analyses, documents, and reports of school department programs. Maintains and updates budget database.
  • Assists Director with preparation of quarterly financial reports, personnel budgets, expenditure projections, and evaluation of financial/operational policies, procedures and practices
  • Maintains and updates the Finance Office website, including online budget information, with NPS web manager.
  • Assists with preparation of School Department Requests for Proposal, Invitations to Bid, and other procurement documents, as required. Acts as procurement liaison to vendors supplying goods/services to Needham Public Schools.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheet and financial applications.
  • Quantitative, interpersonal, and communication skills

Salary: Non-Union Salary Schedule: $47,902 - $60,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
